Puerto Plata

I'm going to be in puerto plata for a week, and I want to know the easiest way to surf near there since I won't have a car and would be renting anything I ride.

-Thanks

RE: Puerto Plata

was there two yrs ago for 2 wks took the board and everything but got no surf.... thats not to say there isn't any. I didn't see much round the puerto plata area, looked like it had potential but the swell never got big enough for it to break. Further west I was told that there was definetly surf to be had... I was there in july. Hope u have a good one...
