board shipping and renting« on: April 25 2007 15:04:00 »
hi there, i just got from MRW and i found out that shpping my surfboard there and forth will cost me almost the same as buying a new one.
what i'd like to know is that if there is any place to buy nice and cheap surfboard (i'd be spending like €500,00 with all the shipping ensurances and stuff) so that i can actually take profit of my surftrip.

A new board in town costs about 350, or rent from Antonia at Encuentro

Bring your own, who's to say that you will even be able to find the right board. It's not worth the risk, your only going to have to pay to ship it home after the trip.

When I went to Cabarete I was glad I brought my board with me. The boards in town looked older and they didn't have that many boards to choose from. But who knows, maby they put a new surfstore in town or something?
