Beginner/intermediate surfing in October

« on: May 24 2008 11:05:00 »

I am coming to DR for a wedding and want to spend a week surfing-north or south coast-doesn't matter.  I am a 'never-ever' and my husband surfed as a teenager.  Any suggestions for the best spot ta make us both happy???

I would suggest to surf on the North Coast. Encuentro has some different breaks and suited for al levels. Next to the good surf Cabarete is a laid back town with plenty of other things to do and to see and great nightlife and restaurants.

We work together with Antonio (surfschool) he has the widest selection of boards and is always there. Everybody we send to him learns fast and is really satisfied with his service.
