dominican republic, north or south in june?

Could anyone let me know if there is  any chance of semi decent swell on the south coast of D.R. in mid june . Also does the north coast around cabaret have decent snorkeling and calmer bays for my girlfriend. Any info appreciated,cheers.

Yes the southcoast does get pretty descent waves that time of the year, but I think the north coast is more consistent in the Cabarete area.
