Just came back from 10 days in the Dominican Republic at Swell Surf Camp in Cabarete.
Read all the reviews of this place online and made a booking.
This place is like no other surf camp, it is 3 years old, but looks like it opened yesterday.
We had some fun waves at Playa El Enquentro, we took lessons and the staff was great, patient and very helpful
Walk in, and be prepared to make lots of new friends. There were about 15 other people staying there from different countries, different ages, couples and solo. You'll get to know everyone very quickly at the dinners and tasty breakfasts.
Best surf camp we have ever been to ( we have been at 6 different ones around the world)
Highly recommended. We'll be back (hopefully soon)

Just came back from a 2 week stay, this place is awesome, met so many great people from all over the place. Staff is friendly and the food is amazing. I did a learn to surf course at Encuentro with Swell and the instructors were super patient ( i wasn't the quickest learner).
I am going back!
