Stuck in Luperon« on: March 10 2010 02:03:00 »
I work for a Dominican, running his sailing yacht for him out of Luperon. Just got back from Nosara, C.R. learning how to surf and looking to keep with it. Doing pretty well and can ride left and right, pick waves and timing just need to keep practicing. Is there anyone around Luperon? Are there any spots closer than Puerto Plata? I have no wheels but have access to a 62ft cat, 15ft RIB, and a 30 ft open power boat. Just looking to get back on some waves ASAP.

Hey... I've heard there is some half decent surf in luperon, i'm going to be there this Sunday for a week, at the luperon beach resort, hoping that i've not been led astray with this info! Let me know if you've found anywhere with decent waves, and possibly somewhere to rent a board! I'm craving the surf and don't know if I can take being on the ocean without it!

Although these posts are older than two years, maybe someone can tell me if there are waves around Luperon?
