Here is a question to all you surfers, how do you suggest is the best way to learn. I will be in Ecuador and that is at the top of my to do list. I found a surf school in Ecuador with a 1 week course, and I wanted to know if it is neccasary. I know surfing won´t be easy to learn, but would it be better just to get a lesson or 2 and practice by myself, or is the school a good investment?
Thanks for helpin me out,

i would take lessons for a day, jus so u know that ur doin the right thing. If you know someone there you should go surfing with them. That helps alot. But after one lesson i dont think u need anymore. Its more fun to surf by yourself.
