Surfing Schools/Camps« on: August 07 2007 14:08:00 »
Hi we are heading to Ecuador for our honeymoon in December and really want to do some surfing, but neither my husband or myself have very much experience, I am wondering if anyone has any info on surf camps or surf schools or general recomendations about surfing for absolute beginners?! and also if anyone has any places that they recomend as for accomodations that would also be really helpful to know! Thanks a lot!!

Check out Casa del Sol. I went there last year and it was way chill. I stayed for like 8 days, it was way affordable, right on the beach, and the teachers (and owner) spoke perfect english. I seriously went out 7 nights and never in one moment was bored between all the activities and the classes, it was prob one of the best vacations I have ever had.

The best place to take classes is sweet surf. Im a surfer but my girl friend took classes there and got a (the only one) female instructor that was awesome. And she speaks english perfect. They also make tours and the guide knows everything about the waves. And it is cheap!
