I was just in Montanita and had surf classes with a female instructor. Her name is Maya and she has her own surf school in MOntanita calles Sweet surf. She is really sweet and a great instructor and you dont have to worry about those latinos that are surf instructors just to pick up girls. A lot of fun and I did learn to surf!

The price for a surf class is $15. I dont know about the other places but sweet surf gives discounts for groups and if you want three classes or more.

there are also other female surf instructors up north in the beautiful beach in Canoa. Ask at the Surfshak for female instructors, they are also english speakers and it is cheaper too.
