I myself have been searching for the same thing for a long time with no luck. You might wanna check out wannasurf.com plenty of info there. Got my hands on lonely planets South America On A Shoestring. Not so much a surf guide book but still provides good info on Ecuador.
Hope this helps

Have just got back from couple of months surfing ecuador and before I went I was searching everywhere for some kind of guide book but there isn't one. No matter though, as armed with a bit of info from sites like wannasurf and galapagosurf.net etc I found my way around, met loads of incredibly friendly local guys and girls who took me to other spots too. Happy to help some more if I can so just shout, otherwise enjoy enjoy enjoy and have a blast!
