Solo traveller Surfing Ecuador/ Peru in March.« on: February 26 2012 14:02:00 »
I fly into Quito on the 7th of march and as yet have no plans. Looking to buy some boards, then check out some breaks heading south travelling by bus and staying in hostels. I am a beginner/intermediate surfer but always keen to paddle out. if anyone else is in a similar situation and wants some company then feel free to get in touch. cheers. James

bro, get out of ecuador. It's a beautiful country and all, but all the surfers in Ecuador wish they were in Peru. I've been here over 2 months after 3 in Ecuador (only 1 month surfing in Ecuador tho) , and prices are cheaper in peru for everything surf related,,., and hostels and food. There are endless waves here and epic prices. Only bad thing is the cold current coming (it's not even that cold, i never get out of a 5/4 at home) . so yeah, shoot me an email at nicolas_R_22@hotmail.com and i can help you navigate . Hopefully you didnt buy boards in montanita yet!
