El Salvador Surf in mid-October« on: June 20 2007 13:06:00 »
I'm planning a trip to El Salvador in mid-October and was just wondering if anyone has surfed there that time of year. How were the waves / wind / weather / crowd?

All I know is that Oct is a rainy month. About 8.5 inches of rainfall so don't forget to pack an umbrella. I've also heard that Punta Roca has good surf, so happy hunting!!!

By this time of year the surf is very good, waves around 5-8 ft, the wind might be a problem after 10 a.m. but at morning it would be awesome surf. Expect rainy days and the crowd factor may affect only on weekends. For more info contact me at [email protected]
