El Salvador is not dangerous for non-dumbasses« on: June 12 2008 23:06:00 »
for all of you complaining about El Salvador being dangerous, get a life. I've was down there for 3 years, I'm as gringo as it gets and nothing ever happened to me. Except for nearly getting electracuted, but that was my fault, for some reason I decided to hang a wet t-shirt up on an electric fence. yeah that was pretty stupid.
I've met tons of GIRLS down in El Tunco, Sunzal, travelling alone and having zero problems. I guarantee, for all of those of you reading people talking about it being dangerous, etc, I guarantee you that those are total losers who would get robbed even if they were in Savannah, Georgia. Some people are just GAPERS.... I hope they stay home from now on...Actually, chances are they are from Texas.

That´s rights, El Salvador has a bad international communication by the sensationalist news, is less dangerous than others countries like Mexico or Guatemala.
As a tourist you have to be carefull with the places that you visit.
If you want to know more about the country, look in WIKI or in the tourism board of El Salvador: elsalvador.travel
