I am going to be in England the end of August. I have surfed all my life, looking forward to checking out the surf in the UK.  my choices are Southeast or Northeast which swells are better in the late summer?

croyde is only popular cos it is the closest spot to the rest of england, this does not mean it is the best. If you hunt around you can find much quieter spots with better waves. try constantine bay, padstow or widemouth bay nr bude.
