My advise: Check out some shapers workshops for used shortboards (and longboards i guess). I was down at Greame Bunt's workshop in Wadebridge last month and his trade-in boards through the back were all top boards from £45 up to about £150. He takes them in as trade-ins on his new stuff and then sells them at cost to him. Go grab a bargin, use it for your trip and then stick it on Ebay for twice what you paid. Sorted. ;)
