hello, im curious of a few things before i spend 4 months in england, water temp from April to August and is the localizm bad? or is everyone cool, and what size of wave should be expected during this time.

Hullo, it's gonna start off pretty cold in April - winter suit needed, prob boots as well (I expect I'll be wearing mine 'cos I'm a wimp!), the water will be warming up though and by mid June you should be into your summer suit, warmest time of the year will be August - problem is that with the high pressure and nice weather there's a good chance of flat - to small wave conditions. So far as localism goes, just be as respectful as you are anywhere else in the world and you won't have a problem, nobody cares if you're good or crap just so long as you don't drop in and respect everyone else in the lineup. For the most part people will be happy to see you. Have a good time & enjoy the country.
