Where to surf near Totnes?

Hey Dudes,

in March 2005 am coming to England for doing an internship in Totnes/ Devon.
Can anyone of u tell me where I can go surf there?
I do both surfing and windsurfing.

dude ur right next to cornwall...get yourself to Newquay awesome surf and nightlife, you'll have a ball!!

Yeah, Newquays alright if you like that kinda thing, bit far to go regularly tho from Totnes (like if you wanted to surf every day).  There's plenty of breaks (most fairly secret) close but your best bet for regular/consistent surf is Bantham (can get crowded tho) which is not far away at all and a real easy drive.  You'll find Bigbury/Bantham good for both surfing and windsurfing.
