london student looking for surf/travel buddy« on: May 15 2007 18:05:00 »
I'm an American exchange student and I'm dying to go surfing. I haven't been since January, which is the longest I've ever been without a surf, so now its time to do some traveling. I'm just finishing up my term and am looking to do some surfing around the rest of Europe (France, Spain, Portugal...)before I head back to the States. I was thinking about going mid to late June and I was wondering if there is anybody out there that is in a similar position that might be up for a little adventure. I'm up for just about anything so long as it involves me and some decent surf...so if anyones interested let me know.

I'm a Canadian exchange student studying in Nottingham this year.. I'm hoping to head off to Portugal at the end of June to a place called Sagres (check it out - I've been there already, it's amazing!). A bit of a long shot, but if you're looking for someone to rent a flat with let me know.. I'm pretty much a beginner surfer but am hoping to work in Sagres and improve my skills. There's quite a decent surf community there I think.. Let me know! x
