surfing when living in oxford« on: July 10 2007 16:07:00 »
im going to school in oxford for the summer and was trying to find some sick surf spots for the weekends. it was to expensive for me to bring my own board, so if any of the breaks have a place to rent a board. i can't go all summer and fall without surfing.

Don't know how far you want to travel for a weekend but Cornwall's your best bet for surfing, but avoid the typical places like Newquay, there are far better and more beautiful surfing beaches further west.St Ives is cool, beaches amazing.

I'm moving to Oxfrod as well in two weeks. I'm bringing my boards, wonder if you've had success. Any good surf days yet?
