find someone for surftrips« on: April 18 2005 08:04:00 »
hi, my name is alex. I am an austrian veterinarian and I will come to the uk in july to work there for 2 years. I don`t know jet my whereabout on the island, but Iwould like to know if there is a speziel chatforum for surfers to get to know someone for weekend surfingtrips. The idea of going out into the water in an unknown area all by yourself is not making me feel comfortable. aloha alex

Hey, have a look in the English forums under "Getting setup to surf UK" - a guy called Jonathan mentions a London surf club which may be what you're looking for. For what it's worth, I wouldn't worry too much, the English aren't that unfriendly!
