Newie and in need of a good surf school

Hi There I'm Ellie and I'm determined to have a go at surfing this summer should I go to a surf school for a long weekend to get some tips? wheres a good place to start? anyone know a good surfing schol? or am I surfing up the wrong wave????

I think that the surf school is a good idea. You are not surfing the wrong wave for sure. When you decide to take some lessons far from home, come to stay with us at Surf In Mazatlan, we have lessons and may places to take you, with world class waves our all inclusive surf camp is a good option for you, if you like traveling.

i went to nick thorne surf school in woolacombe (north devon) and it was amazing :) and they have a professional photographer as well so everyone gets pictures and they make sure everyone gets standing up in their first 2 hour lesson :).  i did 10 hours there and then bought a board and went surfing in france...
