Begginer/intermediate surfers« on: March 07 2013 18:03:00 »
Looking to head to Fiji in May and am curious about the surf there. I've read a lot about cloudbreak and other waves accessible only by boat but are there many beach breaks? Or waves suitable for someone who has only been surfing for 3 months? Also, been looking into funky fish resort, is it as great as it seems?
Thanks very much for any info you give.

I had a similar concern prior to my trip that I have just returned from. There are no Beach breaks that I know of, it is all outter reef stuff but there are more biginer style waves to be caught as aposed to Cloudbreak.
Swimming pools was a great little right hander that I went scuba diving just next to. I didn't surf it but wished I could of gotten time to go back to it. the guy who drove our boat out to surf cloudbreak even said he was only a beginer and he only went out at swimming pools. another for beginers is I believe Restraunts, it is a right hander again like swimming pools and both aparentely get good when the big places like cloudbreak are getting massive.
I hope this is all helpful.
Enjoy your trip
