Surfing in Fiji, where to go?« on: May 23 2014 23:05:00 »
I'm heading to Fiji for a couple of weeks at the start of july and was wanting to bring a board along.
I guess watching 20ft cloudbreak is pretty impressive, although i don't think I'm quite up to that haha
I'm pretty comfortable surfing in 4-6 ft waves (measuring from the back) and wondering if there are waves that would would suit my level.
Also as the only surfer heading over, would some places be better for meeting other surfers to share boats etc? Is it common to book and share boats with others or do people usually do it privately?
On the 'wannasurf' write up of cloud break it was saying it doesn't break under 12 ft, does this sound right?
Any infos appreciated!
