fiji honeymoon/surftrip

I am going to Fiji in September for about 7 days on my honeymoon.  My chick doesn't surf but she loves to chill on the beach and watch me surf.
I am staying on the Coral Coast and need to get some tips.  This is my first trip to Fiji and I hear it is sick.  I have surfed reef before but I hear Fiji is alittle shallower than usual Hawaiian style.

7 days of heaven.  If anybody is reading hit me up with some tips on who to talk to about a surf camp or whatever.  Outrigger is my place

RE: fiji honeymoon/surftrip

Hi woody,

I'm also going to Fiji (next may) for my honeymoon with a non-surfing partner.

I've surfed Fiji before and stayed at the Hideaway resort on the coral coast.  It has an awesome right hander about 100m paddle from the front of the resort.  Plus it is just a short trip to Sigatoka beach and rivermouth which are both great breaks as well.

Hideaway resort really caters for non-surfers as well.  Their package includes free bike hire, glass bottom boats to check out the reef, snorkling gear, swimming pool and night time stage shows every night.  I fully reccomend this place to satisfy both yourself and your partner.

All the best
