Staying at Lalati..is Frigate's the only surf option?« on: April 28 2006 18:04:00 »
I am currnetly packing boards for a May 4th thru 15th stay at Lalati on Beqa. I normally ride longboards but have a 7'6" fish and a 6'6" rounded pin to bring. Should I bring the longboard? Is Frigate's longboardable or should I leave it at home? Is a 7'10" gun a good idea or overkill? Are there any other spots close that might be good too?
Thanks for the input...cheers.

Hi, saw your query and would like to know how you found Lalati Resort and Frigates. I'm going there Xmas day with my wife for a week of surfing and relaxing. would appreciate knowing what you thought of the whole deal. thanks

Sorry, I didn't get your post til now. I loved Lalati...four star for sure. Real mellow, great service, nice people. Hopeyou had the same experience.
Frigates was cool, big and barrleing when I was there. First day got my ass kicked.
I went back in SPet to Namotu adn got better waves but the accomodations aren't as plush as Lalati.
Hope you had a great time as well.
