Rendezvous??!!?« on: May 30 2006 06:05:00 »
Im off to Fiji in July and am looking for a place to stay that will allow me to surf good waves everyday. I dont need anything flashy but am keen to surf as much as possible. Does anyone know much about Rendezvous? any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Not looking for a party Island just a surf orientated place.

I spent a week there in august last year and it was great and its a little bit off so there´s only surfers there but if its a bad day for surf you take the bus in to town. the not so good thing is there´s no surf at the camp, you have to go by boat to one of the reefs every morning to catch a wave and you have to pay for it but there are some great waves so go for it

My partner & I just came back from 6 night sufing holiday staying at Rendezvous. It was absolutely awsome, rendezvous is kick back and friendly, meals are fantastic and included in accomodation rate. We would highly recommend staying here. Mornings are early start with 4-5 hrs of nonstop surfing till lunch - at Wilkes passage or Sat if lucky Cloudbreak or Namotu. Afternoon relaxing in hammocks till dinner! Best surf holiday ever. Definitely stay at Rendezvous (not Waikodra - heard heaps of bad feedback from other surfers)
