ranking the surf spots

« on: March 17 2005 00:03:00 »

which of these spots is better to surf at usually? The heavier the wave the better, that is what I'm looking for.

Namotu Lefts, Cloudbreak, Wilkes, Desperations, Swimming Pools and Lighthouse/mini-Cloudbreak.

appart from Cloudbreak none of these waves compare to the best left I have ridden: FRIGATES.

You can surf Frigates from Waidroka Bay Resort right on the Coral Coast, Viti Levu, which takes you there by boat in approx. 30  mins.

I think Wilkes is just as good as cloudbreak on 99% of the days.

I agree with Merlin, Frigates Pass is one of the best waves in Fiji. peace
