Boat Charters out of Nadi« on: June 13 2007 12:06:00 »
Anybody have any information in regards to getting on a boat to surf the breaks west of Nadi? If you have web-sites and or direct phone contact that would be Great! :)
I am staying at the Trendwest (Worldmark) Hotel on Denerau and my wife and I will be arriving Sept. 1st 2007
Thanks in advance!

Best of luck with that Darren! We are currently at Sheraton Denaru Villas and scanning the internet as it is very hard to get any info from tour guides etc as all the breaks seem to have these exclusive rights to the resorts. We came on a whim - one weeks notice. We got some info from a tour guide at our resort called Luisa, she has said she could organise a charter to Namotu. Upon reading Namotu website, they have exclusive rights to it (which is shit!) but apparently you can go out on a Saturday as this is their change over day. If we do decide to organise one through Luisa we will let you know. Maybe flick us an email in a week or so in case we forget. Cheers, John and Lynn

John - I hope you and your wife made the tour! I have been doing some research as of late and there is a boat that leaves the Seashell Surf and Dive Resort for 25FD. No reply yet as to whether or not outsiders can jump aboard but I am keeping my fingers crossed. Hope you had a GREAT time!

XXXX - Just heard about the boat out of Seashell. I am awaiting a response from there U.S. contact in regards to outsiders jumping aboard. You sound like you have some experience with this, are outsiders (meaning staying at a different hotel) welcome?
By the way, Tavi and Motu don't really interest me, probably crowded anyway. Wilkes, and Lighthouse sound awesome.
