best way to surf fiji

could anyone give me some good tips about where to stay to get some good waves for a week in fiji.  i have a wedding to go to at shangi la and want to know where to go after that where to stay.

stay at seashell cove....you can get boats out to namuto and and frigates passage every morning......

True except you are not allowed to surf namotu, but Wilkes and lighthouse right and swimmingpools are good.

Plantation ls is a family orientated resort. Check the blackboard at the dive shed for surf trips/times. $40 gets you a 20 min boat ride to Wilkes. The boat will take you back after about 2-3 hrs. Expect possible onshores & currents. Plenty to do if no waves.

I agree, Plantation Island is the Best resort to get to the surf.

If you stay in Shangri la, you can do day trip from there.
