No Surf... No Wedding

« on: July 12 2005 20:07:00 »

Please help, trying to get married overseas but my other half wants to know if he can catch a couple of breaks during our honeymoon, We will be staying at the Sheraton on Denaru Island. Where are the closest surfing spots?

put your foot down, sister.  Tell him right off that there will be absolutely NO surfing during your honeymoon.  That time is for the two of you and nothing else, so if he wants to surf tandem, that may be fine, but if he expects YOU to sit on the beach and wait his session out, then he has another think coming.  Let him know who is the boss before the wedding so there will be no surprises afterward.
Yep, say I DO and throw away that wax comb and rash guard, he won't be needing those anymore.
Welcome to married life, dude!

is this girl serious? ok first off marriage is about picking your batttles and compromise, if you tell him he can't surf thats like telling him he can take a piss when you tell him he can. Meet him half way let him surf then ask him to do something wiht you that you really want to do that he isn't as crazy about. That way by the end of the day you both are satisfied you both have those things you wanted to do out the way and you can do what newly weds do best CAPIESH! that girl who is tryin to cut off her dude form surfing needs to embrace it and yeah guess she did marry her future ex husband

I think you guys took this the wrong way, we are definetely getting married but I wanted to give my man a treat by letting him cut sick while we are relaxing in paradise and let him surf. Which are the best breaks close to Denaru Island?
