What kind of board to bring to Nagigia

« on: July 21 2005 16:07:00 »

I am heading to Nagigia in August for my honeymoon.  I am an intermediate surfer and will be surfing a couple of breaks there, mainly King Kong.  I have two boards and am wondering if anyone knows which will be better.  I have a 7/9' swallowtail tri fin that is great for surfing all kings of waves.  It's big and easy to surf, however, cant turn very well.  My other board is  a Harbour Retro Revolver 7'6' singlefin that is a throwback to a wider shape and turns like a skateboard. Any suggestions?

I surfed King Kong Left last year 6' to 8' on my 7',6" funshape and it did the job quite well.  I would always recommend your single fin; however, two to three boards were snapped in two while I was there... you may want to bring a backup - Say hey to village.
