Hiring a boat to wilkes and frigates« on: November 12 2009 21:11:00 »
I am staying on Viti Levu, on denarau island. Does anyone know... is it fairly easy to find someone (a fisherman, say) to pay some money to and have them take you out to Wilkes, etc? Would these people be knowledgeable about the breaks at all (ie where they are/identifying different breaks)? I'm not staying at any of the surf camp type places, will they possibly let people who aren't staying at the resort pay to hop on their boats out to the waves? What about out to Frigates on the south island? Thanks for any input.
