Taking the bus with surfboard in France?

« on: April 11 2014 12:04:00 »

Hi, I'm about to go surfing from 15.4-28.4 in France (Biarritz) but because I'll fly there without car i was wondering if it is possible to take the bus with the surfboard?
Otherwise I'd have to walk 3km to beach every day :/
I'm not sure if traveling by bus with the surfboard is allowed though and if it would even fit in the bus.
I have a 7.3ft Mini Malibu Softboard

Really hope you can help me out
