surfing in France and/or Portugal.

hey guy's, what is the best surfing spot in France of Portugal. for beginners / advanced. waves around 1/2 maybe 3 meter... i like sandy beaches the most ;) who can help me?

What time of the year?
Also 3 meters is hardly beginner / intermediate size, you'd have to be pretty confident to tackle that size.
Portugal the Algarve and Peniche area have good spots for beginners and intermediate surfers. SW of France also has some good surf spots

yea 3 meters is the highest i ever surfed (bali) 1/2 meters is the best for my friends :P thanks for the tips i wil google it. thanks!
