Yo.
Go to biarritz in the south west and there is the beach called "la Côte des Basques", vewry famous for longboards. This is where everybody is starting in the region.

Cheers.

Is there a campsite near La Cote des Basques that you could recommend?  Or do you know what other accomodation there is within walking distance of beach?

I'm also looking for beginner spots in France, not too expensive, with a cheap place to live during the surf sessions. I'm from Germany, 18 years old, Canadian. Any advice would really be appreciated! Are the surfcamps a good thing to start with although it can be expensive!
