i will be in biarritz june 25 thru the 29th. i am 55 and my son and daughter (twins) are 15. we will not be able to bring any equipment or boards and want to know of a local surf shop we can rent equipment as we are coming to surf as part of our family vacation.

i'm from Basque coast in France, you can rent boards in front of the most popular beaches, "La grande plage" in Biarritz and "Les sables d'or" in Anglet (the closest city which has better waves).
You have to ask in surfshops, they are easy to find, most of them are on the beaches.

thanks so much. I was wondering the same thing. I am going to be staying in Toulouse but am taking my two sons 16 and 19 along the coast for 2-3 days. I am a good longboard surfer (live in San Diego). Where would suggest for mid July?
