surfing S. France

Just looking for some inside info on the surf in S. France in mid Sept. Water temp? Dominant swell direction? Spots other than on this website.?? Thanks.

if you're talking about cote basque & les landes (Atlantic coast, SW France) water temps are currently about 22 deg C, swell typically moving SE with light winds mostly SW.

You'll find pretty much everything here from beach breaks to reef breaks, lefts, rights 2ft to 30ft...

ps i meant the water temp is about 22 in september. right now its 25

Saw your post.  I'm an American living in Los Angeles thinking and I'm about surfing the South of France and San Sebastian area in mid September.

Not sure what your plans are but if you find good info on places to stay, prices or swell information or if you're interested in combining forces drop me a line.
