Wesuit and Board Rental

Will be in Biarritz for a week of surf.  How thick of a wetsuit are you wearing in May and where is the best place to rent a shortboard?

Thanks
Pat

At the moment the water temp is pretty ok just a summer suit will be fine . But probably better off with a long arm and leg 3,2. Have a good one

Hey Pat.
Did you ever get a response to your enquiry about surfboard hire. I've had trouble finding a decent board around Biarritz and Hossegor. Did you have any luck?

no wetsuits or boards anywhere in Biarritz now.  It's too cold any way.  Plus you can't even get there because of the transit strike.

Anybody who wants to surf in the south of france from mid november needs a 4/3 wettie and booties (not essential but highly recommended). The water temp may be at a nice 14 deg but the mornings can be bitterly cold and that xtra neophrene will be much appreciated.
