campsites

Hi looking for a campsite on beach with good surf but we have 3 children 6, 5 and 4. We don't want one of those Butlin type campsites but just a chilled site on the beach where kids can amusr themselves. Does anybody know somewhere like this on south west coast? Cheers

RE: campsites

I'd go for Le Vieux Port just outside Messanges (about 20 minutes north of Hossegor.) Certainly more family-oriented than the slightly cheaper sites closer to Hossegor, but still gets good waves and without people playing bongos all night long.
Hope that helps!

Toby.
