Living in France and looking for place to learn« on: February 13 2008 10:02:00 »
Hey, I'm currently living in France and was wondering if anyone is knowledgeable enough to help me out.
Ive never surfed before and am looking for a place to go learn. I am going to be here until at least the end of may and am hoping to head out to the beach as soon as possible. Can anyone fill me in on the best time/place to go for a complete beginner

Just read your post...with no replies. I too am in France until the end of May. That's too bad you haven't received any replies yet but if you search for a 'surf school' sort of spot you'll find the best place for beginners. I did a few weeks last year in Costa Rica and just check with the B&Bs/cabins for the surfers who also offer lessons with board rentals included. Had a blast and am thinking of doing the same here in France.
Hope you make it happen, good luck!

Do you know of any surf schools or anyone offering lessons in the norther area of France. I have never surfed before but plan on learning while I am living here in France (Paris). Any help would be great.
