I'm going to the Charente region for 3 weeks in August. Does anyone know where the best places are to go surfing??

Hi Emily,
I like the beach of Grand Village Plage, near St. Trojan on Ile d'Oleron. Good waves (when wind comes from east), wide sandy beach, nice Island – 2 surfshops at Dolus and St. Pierre. Nic

very good place for surfing ,but i't"s better in autum... no much people in line up .....you have also st trojan les bains (la grande plage ) better than grand village  ! ! !
