France in Early Sept.

« on: July 19 2005 07:07:00 »

From all I know and read, it seems there is a good chance for surf in early September in the Cote D' argent area. But how is the weather typically? Still warm enough for my wife to lie in the sun? What about the water - can I skin it? I can take  about 20C (68F) without a wetsuit easily, lower if the air is nice. Crowds are thinning out by early Sept too, right?
