public transport and camping in south west« on: June 05 2008 01:06:00 »
is it easy to get around basque/ les landes using public transport? is it ever a problem with surfboards?
also, what are some good relaxed towns to go to around this area for camping that is pretty close to the beach that can be reached pretty easily without a car?

Not that easy with the public transport there.
Go to Hossegor / Seignosse/ Capbreton area there's some good camp sites within walking distance of good beachbreaks

Theres a place called "Messanges" about ten kilometers north of Hossegor...I've spent there a week surfing and stayed at the campside "Camping de Messanges"...don't know about the public transport around there but its been just five minutes to walk to the beach and the waves have been pretty good, too. I can recommend this place/beach because they have a lot of french naked chicks jumping around there. Very yummi....
