wetsuits in summer?

hi im flying to bordeaux at start of august and staying till september 12th, am travelling down the coast, what mm wetsuit is recommended if any?

Hi,

You´ll get fairly warm water, but a 2mm Short John would be good, just in case.

Hi there,

I'm from Bordeaux and surf quite a bit around Hossegor.
The temperatures won't change much from early august to mid September but I would recommend a 3/2.

a 3/2 full suit? or would you get away with a shorty or a short john?
