Beginner surf town

« on: August 20 2007 20:08:00 »

I'm looking for a surf town that caters to the "beginner to somewhat experienced" surfer.  Ideally, I'd like to find a town that has a good surf school, a range of waves for different skill levels, and enough people to have a decent nightlife (planning to stay for a couple of months).

There's got to be another place in the world besides Tamarindo that has all of this, right??!! Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Morocco can be a good option, the town of Agadir close to Taghazout has all this to offer. and there is a very good vibe in winter in this area.
