I'm thinking of going to J Bay for the first 2 weeks of December, know it's not the best swell season but is there much hope of getting a wave?

Woody,

It will work at least for 10 out of the 31 days -statistically speaking. I know I surf there @ that time each year....but it also very crowded owing to school vacations. The weather's normally good and if it's too crowded - go down to Caoe St Francis or the many other spots along that coast..
