Solo trip to CR, looking for advice and possible link ups« on: October 10 2007 20:10:00 »
I am prepping for a solo trip to Costa Rica in November (7-17) with the sole intention of learning to surf. I've been on a board a couple of times ... with minimal time on the feet.
Anyone have advice on a good place to go? I am looking for somewhere lively, but not overly americanized and springbreakish - and where i can find a decent place to stay and relax when not surfing ... and...more importantly, where I can rent a board and find a good teacher.
Also - if anyone is traveling through at that time and looking to link up, pls drop me a line.
