buying a board

Hi, looking to buy my first board and was wondering if anyone had any info on the M8R8 surf store? Are these boards good? I don't want to find out along the road that I bought a lemon.

Thanks

RE: buying a board

If you haven't bought it yet I recommend picking up a used board or a new BIC surfboard from a local shop...they have good flotation and can a beating and best of all easy to stand up on.  Best and most affordable beginner board I've seen.

RE: buying a board

Search on Craigslist.org for a used board.  Plenty of used boards on there.

Looking for surf spots in ?
