How do norwegians survive in Australia?

Hi, im fom norway, and im considering moving to australia for about a year in one-and-a-half-years time. is it hard for a foreigner to get a part time job or anyting in order to survive? whats the flat rent prices?

where in australia are the finest waves? would anyone care to teach me?

Have you looked into WWOOF working on organic farms? It sounds naff, you get free food and board for return for some gardening etc.

If you do it near a surf area.

You have to really do it if you enjoy that sort of work too.
