Surfing in Bali & Lombok in March« on: January 28 2008 04:01:00 »
I'll be spending a month in Bali and Lombok in March and I plan to surf as much as possible while I'm there. I'm a novice so if anyone else who is not super confident about traveling around and surfing alone wants to hook up and brave it out together that would be cool. I've surfed a little bit before in Ireland but am still a relative beginner. Also if anybody has any advice on good spots for beginners, and what to expect to pay for board rental that would be cool also.
Oh yeah, I'm Irish and I'm 28.

Hi I was thinking of going to bali for march for some surf , im no great surfer either. ive been to bali several times . new boards are quite dear but 2nd hand boards are cheaper out there. id get my own board personally rather than rent one. sometimes you get rented out rubbish boards which snap easily and then u have to pay for them .if u send me an email ill let you know if im definitely there for march.
Regards , Lawrence
